Other additives may include lime to balance pH levels, beneficial microbes, Red Soil, Micronutrient, Solid Calcium Particles, Liquid PanjaKaviya, and wetting agents to help retain moisture.

Types of Potting Mixes:

All-purpose: Suitable for houseplants, hanging baskets, window boxes, ornamentals, herbs, and edibles, as well as general indoor and outdoor use.

Indoor potting mix: General-purpose or labeled specifically for indoor plants. They’re designed to work with a wide range of houseplants.

Raised beds: Formulated for outdoor raised bed plantings, these mixes may be fortified with nutrient-rich ingredients for growing vegetables and other heavy feeders.

Garden soil: This soil-based medium may contain organic or inorganic enhancements as well as fertilizer. It is intended for use in raised beds or in-ground garden beds.

It is a good idea to buffer the coco-peat with calcium nitrate solution. Soak it in a calcium nitrate solution. Then wash a couple of times with water.
